Cold snap

Sunday the 20th; Bah! Well it was only a matter of time; the midweek forecast warned of dropping temperatures & Fridays metcast forewarned of the freezin leval dropping to 1400 metres but I kinda hoped it would be dry enough foy zippo to happen…..
“Drat, drat, & double drat” …..But it was not to be. Friday night was a cold one, then Saturday then today the cloud cleared; aarh, bugger.
In previous years; both at the start of winter (& summer) snow has come & gone several times before locking into the seasonal norm – once more I wonder if this is too much to hope for; ANZAC day on the mountain. Would be cool – erm….. forecast not looking to clever at the moment….
Maybe the half empty glass will be topped up by next weekend :o)
